I’ve lived my whole life in the suburbs, first in New York and now in Colorado, but deep down there has been a longing for a quieter, slower life and place.  In early 2012 my hubby and I decided it was time to take the leap and look for a ranch.  We found 80 acres on the eastern plains with a house, barn, garage, loafing shed and a windmill and we are now in the process of fixing the place up.  It is a lot of work and an adventure and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
